Alex Trebek says that he got gelled with Ken Jennings, James Holzhauer, and Brad Rutter over the years and it feels like a family reunion on having them back on “Jeopardy!.”
While the all-time favourite host, Alex joined “TMZ Live” he told that he is enjoying extremely on being the host for the greatest show “Jeopardy!” along with the contestants completely. He also mentions that their bond of love has grown even stronger during the long duration of the show.
Alex says he is lifelessly battling his cancer while he passes every other bad and good day. Meanwhile, there is no second thought that these sorts of the reunion are uplifting his spirits, putting on a smile on his face.
You would have probably noticed the amount of fun that Alex had if you did tune- into the tournament of champions. It is almost 10 months of frustration, pain and more for Trebek, as he is fighting against stage 4 pancreatic cancers. However, he tells that he’s enjoying this distinct show. Alex is undergoing a second round of chemotherapy, and he has not missed a show so far.
Since 1984, Trebek’s been at the helm of this show but says he has never hosted such a vicious ‘Jeopardy!’ champs by giving them the same answer to the question of who could replace Alex Trebek he was thinking of passing the torch as he’s 79 years old. Their joint answer might not surprise you. They said, “We love you, Alex”.
They were probably right! Alex is irreplaceable! The answer choked him up and Alex thanked the contestant for loving him. He paused a moment to collect himself before continuing with the show.
