Kevin Clifton, who split in March with wife Karen Clifton, is now opened up his relationship with Stacey Dooley. He paid tribute to his love Stacey and revealed his fans how she helped him to ease the struggles which were surrounding his personal life. He said ‘ there were many things thrown at me, at times I have struggled and at that struggling time I was a bit rut too as I don’t know what exactly to do.’
After this statement, he started thanking his love Stacey and said’ I can finally say that I am the strictly champion following almost six years of trying and it is a miracle.’ However, it has been rumored for a long time that Kevin and Stacey have been enjoying in their secret love relationship for months. Their photos also emerged in January while heading into same Birmingham.
He thanked his new love while holding the Glitterball trophy that they won together. He said that the time he was busy at his tours Stacey supported him from a distance by linking his Instagram post which was from his tours. As per sources, Stacey has been urged by friends to steer clear of him to protect his career. However, Kevin was previously married to Karen Clifton and split from a year ago following three years of marriage but are now close friends.
Stacey past relationship
On the other hand, Stacey had a past relationship with Sam Tucknott and who revealed on Sunday, this weekend that she called time on five years long relationship and started dating thrice-married man Kevin. In an interview, Sam also revealed how he initially supported Kevin and Stacey working relationship and wanted them to win the show. But slowly he realized after seeing text messages which were sent to Kevin by Stacey. One message includes, I love dancing with you and spending every minute I can with you.’
A source also told the publications that Stacey has much work to complete at this moment, and her agents did not like as their work got affected because of any scandal. They have secretly suggested that these latest updates and stories could adversely affect her image and thus she should listen to the advice seriously. Sources also claimed that Stacey who is known for her hard-hitting BBC three documentaries dumped her ex-boyfriend Sam for Kevin as he has a much better image than him.
On her Twitter account on Monday Stacey has spoken out regarding the romance rumors with Kevin, she said’ anybody with any adult life will definitely know that there are always two sides of the story. I do not have the energy and time to correct several utter nonsenses that I have read on here.’ She added that ‘Re Sam, I; loved him very much and wished him success and happiness to go forward.’
