It was in December 2017 when the news came out that Quentin Tarantino had come up with his new project of a Star Trek film and that he might be interested in directing it surely. Also, in the new issue of the magazine, the director confirms this news that he is very much interested in this project. He also stated that screenplay for which is being penned by many writers. Also, the movie would be R-rated if he selected to make it himself.

According to CelebrityInsider, Quentin Tarantino Is Creating A Star Trek Movie. Also, Tarantino spoke with Empire magazine and confirmed this news that ‘it will still very much in cards. It’s an R-rated movie. If I do it, it will be for sure R-rated. He also confirmed that there is a script that exists for it now, and I need to weigh in on it; however, I haven’t been able to do that yet.’

At the same time, Star Trek Franchise star Zachary Quinto also weighed in on the project. The actor supposed that he would love to come back for one more movie in the series. He said ‘there is nothing concrete as I could give you other than I think all of us would love to come back again to do one more movie, especially with Quentin. What an outstanding experience it would be not only for us but also for the Star Trek fans along with the audience who enjoy it. We are actually opened to it, and I know that conversations are being had but no with me. Thus we will see what happens

Unfortunately, an R-rating is the last thing Star Trek requires. As it was always of an outlier in the world of science fiction. Star Wars is all about a war or a conflict still ongoing 40 years later. The entire show was rested on the premise that humanity had overcome its base failings counting poverty, war, consumerism and reckless along with every other out there and joined the galaxy as one human family and a cog in an even greater alliance known as the United Federation of Planets.

For almost all, Star Trek is so compelling and is much better than other franchises as its way to escape from the usual doom and gloom, action-hungry sci-fic that frequently makes its path towards the theaters. Also, one thing is sure that Tarantino’s Star Trek will be surely a massive moment for the franchise. It will likely settle on if there’s still space left out in our galaxy for complex and hopeful science fiction.
