On Thursday, fallen trees line the roads, and several homes were also damaged because of those fallen trees. Across the South, strong storms roared leaving more than 100000 people without power all across Louisiana, Mississippi as well as Texas. Shockingly four suspected tornadoes have been reported in Virginia.

As per the National Weather Service damage has been reported yesterday after twisters touched down in Fredericks Hall, Barham, Forksville as well as in Reston.  Authorities confirmed that a tree fell through the roof of a condemned house in Reston. Also, tree damage was also reported at an intersection in Fredericks Hall too. There were many trees reported in Barham, at the same time as a house and numerous small structures too were damaged in Forksville.

Yesterday the strong storm came from the South and killed an eight-year-old girl in Florida. Forecasters also confirmed that about 14 tornadoes touched the down in Mississippi as severe storms made its way all across the South.

According to a survey done by The National Weather Service yesterday, the strongest tornado had winds for about 132 mph, i.e. 212 kph at the time when they hit the ground in the central market Mississippi town and damaged many homes.  In all damage from the storm in Mississippi was reported for about 24 out of 82 countries.

 Motorists urged to avoid a segment of a major interstate

Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant declared the state’s second state of emergency in less than a week owing to these tornadoes. These storms were blamed for about three deaths in Mississippi. Out of which two men were driving the third one crushed by the tree. The declaration by Mississippi Gov. will speed the state resources to affected regions. Among the hardest hit areas by tornadoes in the town of Morton which is about thirty miles east of Jackson. On Thursday a 42-year-old Monica Clements died after a tree fell on her mobile home.

After a line of tornadoes motorists were requested to avoid part of a major interstate that runs through South Carolina to stay safe. There was the video also posted on Twitter yesterday by South Carolina Highway Patrol that shows up interstate 26 in Orangeburg Country covered up with large trees limbs. Various regions of \South Carolina remain under tornado watches as well as warnings.

As per National Weather Service forecasters, it is predicted that multiple tornadoes hit southwest along with Central Mississippi on Thursday. However, they are not sure until they confirm the damage. Earlier in the day, heavy winds were also reported in Louisiana along with Central Alabama as the system fastly moved eastward.
