Kendall Jenner, a 23-year-old model, shared a video which showed her cleansing her skin using Proactive MD skincare products. In that video which was shared on Twitter on 12th June 2019, Wednesday and in which she was demonstrating how she washes her face.
As reported on CelebrityInsider the Kendall Jenner Since the video was shared, fans of reality TV star started criticized her, and she has faced backlash on Twitter .her fans criticized her for many reasons counting leaving the tap on and washing water at the time of washing her face. The clip shows Kendall using what appears to be Proactive’s deep cleansing face wash, which is in a three-piece set along with a moisturizer as well as acne fighting gel.
At the beginning of the video, she turned on the water tap and squeezed a drop of the face wash on her hands. After that, she rubbed her hands together and placed the product on her face. Following this step, she started massaging the face wash onto her skin for a few seconds while looking her in the mirror. Then after a few seconds, she splashed water on her face from the tap which was already open and rinsed the product off her face.
While posting this video on Twitter, she captioned it as ‘My daily face washing routine never gets old…@proactiv_ambassador.’ This video was uploaded on Wednesday afternoon, and fans started pointing out many problems which they observed with her routine. Many of her fans criticized her for leaving the water running at the time of massaging her face. One of the Twitter users commented that ‘it gives me so much anxiety when she did not turn the water off.’
One of her fans also commented that ‘I did feel so guilty if I left the water running for a long time. ‘Many criticized her for the amount of time she was taken to wash her face. Also, many stated that she clean up her face too quickly.
Another user said ‘Ugh I am cringing; please do not keep the water running while scrubbing your face, and please save water, Kendall.’
Some users also joked that why Kendall was in such a hurry to wash her face, was she worried that Kylie would walk in and see that her sister was not using her Kylie skin products. Or else she was competing with her sister over who can receive the biggest backlash over how much wrong they wash their face.
Also, after washing the product off the white towel used by the star appeared to be covered with makeup stains despite cleaning with the face wash. Though celebrities’ skincare routine videos are common on Twitter and are nothing new but users criticized Kendall and focused on how quickly she washed her face in just 10 seconds. According to the dermatologists, the ideal time to wash your face is about 20 to 60 seconds. However, Kendall still had to respond to the criticism she received on washing her face.
