Sega Company finally announced the release date of the most-awaited gaming console Mega Drive Mini that is the updated version of its classic console 16bit.
On 19th of September, this gaming console is going to be released into the markets containing 40 built-in games with an HDMI port that directly plugs into the new-gen televisions and two controllers only at 80 dollars.
The Mega Drive Mini is following the footsteps of very successful Nintendo NES and SNES along with the PlayStation Classic. The brand new gaming console from Sega will contain features of headphone volume slider resembling the original machine, which was removed in the Mega Drive II iteration.
Although the company has yet to reveal all the built-in games in the Mega Drive mini Ecco the Dolphin, Sonic the Hedgehog, Earthworm Jim, and Comix Zone are confirmed to be available for the users to play. The list of games also includes the cult action adventurous titles like the Castlevania: Bloodlines and Gunstar Heroes, Altered Beast and Space Harrier II from the legends of Arcade and the great role-playing –Shining Force.
While Sega has produced a series of gaming consoles in the past years, the fans had reported about some of the issues they faced with the AtGames devices to which Sega tweeted that they would be working on resolving the issues in the new Mega Drive Mini with an alternative partner.
