World’s most expensive burger with gold-dusted bun will set you back £700

A Tokyo-based restaurant has brought out for sale the most expensive piece of burger in the world that comes with a price tag of £700.

The man behind this amazing creation is Chef Patrick Shimada working with the Oak Door Steakhouse located in the Roppongi district of Tokyo. This creation shall be a part of the menu till June. This Golden Giant Burger comes with a patty weighing 1kg along with Wagyu Beef Slices, Shaved Truffle, Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Onions, Tomatoes, and Foie Grass (Paste Made with Duck of the Goose Liver).

This huge luxury bun is 6 inches in width with a height of 10 inches. The icing on the cake or dusting on this burger is comprised of gold dust. It was created for celebration of the crowning ceremony of the latest Japanese Emperor, the Crown Prince Naruhito.

The official website states that this burger was devised to celebrate the latest Imperial Era of Reiwa as well as long Golden Week. Additionally, Oak Door Steakhouse shall serve special edition signature burger which comes in two different sizes.
