YouTube’s latest update gives more power to the creators over copyright claim disputes

YouTube has come up with its latest studio update, and it is giving more power to the creators, who are already tired of dealing with copyright issues.

With the new update, creators can now address copyright disputes directly from their digital back-end workspace. Not only that, but YouTube also gives the flexibility of trimming out the claimed content if held in question by the community.

The creators are going gaa-gaa about the “Assisted Trim” feature, which has just rolled out with the latest update. It is equipped with the “endpoints of the edit pre-set, which will allow the users to trim the copyright part wherever required.

However, the feature is not completely ready yet and the team is working on it to provide the users with flexible endpoints so that the creators can trim out the specific portion of their video. The motif of the community is that the video created must make some sense and conveys the message to the viewers. But unfortunately, you cannot avail the feature right now.

The problem regarding the copyright disputes between the creators and the music labels or third-party companies has been consistent over time. Though the company has tried to team up with several companies before to solve the particular problem, nothing came to use.

However, YouTube has been constantly thinking about the issue and we can see the proof when they came up with a new policy update in July. In that update, YouTube had proposed the copyright owners like Universal, that now they will have to be more particular while claiming copyright materials in a YouTube video. It was something new brought by YouTube keeping in concern the hard work and effort given by the creator.
