The ministry of health reported that infection by the Ebola virus has surpassed 1000 casualties in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
An epidemic situation is caused in the country as all in all 1009 casualties being affected by the hazardous Ebola virus has been reported.
Before this situation, Ebola Virus outbreak had affected the people of West Africa in 2014 and now the epidemic caused from Ebola virus in the Democratic Republic of Congo is touted as the second-deadliest that severed 944 patients from the infection and 65 cases aren’t been confirmed yet.
The WHO said in the previous week that there was an increase in the number of casualties being affected by the Ebola infection. The people are mainly being affected to this extent because of the lack of security in the system as the treatment bases have been attacked because of the built-in mistrust among the community members.
There is an increase in the challenges faced by the security systems, which involve the attack by the militants on the Ebola treatment centers in which the guarding officers were murdered; followed by the attack in the regions of North Kivu due to which the doctors treating the patients suffering from Ebola were forced to stop the procedures immediately.
According to the World Health Organization, the infections caused by Ebola haven’t spread beyond the DRC’s of Ituri and North Kivu territories yet.
